Difference and challenge
Designing a badge with two distinctive features—INK technology and a flexible body—presented unique challenges. INK technology imposes limitations on color vibrancy, font clarity, and other design elements, while the flexible casing introduces its own set of hurdles. Overcoming these obstacles required innovative problem-solving and a deep understanding of both technologies. Despite the challenges, we successfully merged INK technology with a flexible casing to create a revolutionary badge.
Technical limitations
As a designer, developing the Ink-powered, interactive reprogrammable badge with a flexible body posed several challenges. It required a delicate balance between functionality and aesthetics. From initial sketches to final prototypes, attention to detail was paramount at every stage. Overcoming technical hurdles and refining the design demanded a methodical approach. Creating an interface that seamlessly integrates with the device added an additional layer of complexity. Despite the challenges, this project represents an opportunity to push the boundaries of innovation in event technology.
Add a new ride process
The process of adding a new trip is a critically important juncture where any error can prove costly for all involved parties. That's why we've devoted special attention to researching and refining this procedure.
A manager can effortlessly create a trip from point A to point B, setting the return journey of the vehicle into the system for negotiation—or opt for a fully circular trip.
All details filled out in the form (or modified for any reason) are not only sent to the scheduling board but also seamlessly transmitted to the driver's application. See below for further details.
Exterior design process
As a designer pioneering innovation in this project, crafting the flexible smart badge enclosure was a thrilling endeavor. Introducing a bendable casing, twisting its components became an integral part of controlling the system, enhancing user interaction.
With a focus on extraordinary user experience and usability, this design revolutionizes how users navigate through maps, schedules, and more, setting a new standard for intuitive interface interaction.
